Hello! My name is Ben Geller. I am a proud Hyde Park resident & I am the District 4 Legislator representing the people of Hyde Park, Staatsburg, & Poughkeepsie. I currently work as a First Responder, Educator & Small Business Owner. I can also be found traveling the globe with medical teams providing care to areas where there is little access.
I am here to be YOUR voice for the people of Dutchess County & the State of New York; to serve the community that literally transformed my life into something I can be proud of. I will fight for you, for the continued progress of Dutchess County & the State of New York.

Small Businesses: As an owner & operator of a small business, I know first hand that small businesses are at the heart of a community. "Mom & Pop" Shops are extremely important to the economic fabric of our society.

Law Enforcement: I stand with our Law Enforcement Partners in Dutchess County & Beyond. As a fellow first responder, I understand the importance of public safety, transparency & trust to effectively keep our neighborhoods safe.

Infrastructure: I will fight for the much needed improvement of drainage in Hyde Park & Staatsburg without a tax burden on Residents. I will work closely with town government to continue & encourage economic development that brings jobs & revenue to our district.

Property Taxes: I understand New Yorkers are passion driven hard workers & deserve to keep the money they earn in their wallet. I will fight to keep your property taxes down & capped. I will fight to improve the services already provided at no additional cost to tax payers.

Mental Health: I will fight for the expansion of mental health services in Dutchess County that will improve the lives of residents.

Teachers: Our educators are extremely vital to the success of our children & I will support endeavors that will improve our schools & the educators within.
